Researching Woodwind Instruments

For this exercise, I have chosen to research the woodwind section in more detail. This is because even though I can identify most if not all of these instruments by sight and sound, I have little knowledge on their construction, how they are played and any 'special effects' that can be produced by a skilled player. I will explore each of the standard instruments in detail, and also make more brief notes on their auxiliary counterparts.
